I know this myself because I have overcome chronic low back pain by practicing yoga regularly. It’s a great way to build up strength, endurance, & flexibility without being too hard on your body.

Community Instruction:

Come join me to learn more about yoga! I am currently teaching the following community classes:

5-Senses Yoga Level 1 – Thursdays at 5:30 pm MT

A slower-paced, therapeutic yoga class that will tantalize, awaken, & enliven all of your senses (taste, touch, sight, sound, & smell)! Each class offers an experience of mantra, mudra, meditation, purification, movement, vibration, & sensation that will leave you walking away from class feeling relaxed & rejuvenated (just like after you’ve left the spa!). There will also be a long, juicy period of rest (i.e. savasana) at the end of each class accompanied by the healing sound & vibration of Tibetan bowls.

Restorative/Yoga Nidra – Thursdays at 7 pm MT

No previous experience with yoga required! This class is an extremely gentle, restorative, & therapeutic yoga class that will feel like a mini spa retreat to your body, mind, & spirit! Focus will be on restorative poses held for longer periods which are heavily supported by props to promote relaxation & release of muscle stiffness & tension in the body. A guided yoga nidra (yoga sleep) meditation will also be offered. This is a great way to soothe the nervous system for alleviating emotional issues such as stress, anger,  anxiety, etc… In addition to the gentle movements & release that you’ll experience, there will also be a long, juicy period of rest (i.e. savasana) at the end of each class accompanied by the healing sound & vibration of Tibetan bowls.
